We can’t wait to celebrate the hope and joy of Easter with you, your friends and family! Explore the meaning of Easter as you engage with God’s Word in the Bible.

Resurrection SUNDAY.

Have you ever wondered what the Easter long weekend is all about? Why do we pause and remember Jesus—a guy who died 2000 years ago? What’s worth celebrating about that?

And as for the resurrection—it sounds ludicrous! What good reason do we have to believe it’s true? And what significance does it have if it is true?

This Easter we’ll be examining the central claim of Christianity—the profound world-changing reality of Jesus’ death and resurrection.

FAQs

  • At Marmong Point (9.30am) we’ll have an all-in service, designed for all ages and intentionally kid-friendly. A full kids program will run for one-year-olds through to Year 8 at Morisset (4pm) on Easter Sunday.

  • Yes, of course you can!

Lake Mac Church is full of people from all sorts of backgrounds, faith traditions and non-traditions. Some of us have been Christians for a long time, others have just started following Jesus, and some are exploring the claims Jesus made.

We’d love to have you join us no matter where you’re at with God.

  • As you walk in there'll usually be a few people to say hi and offer you a name tag (helps to know who you’re talking to!). Then if there's time, you can grab a coffee. Feel free to sit anywhere you like.

Our service will include some singing and some praying, and someone will read a section from the Bible (before someone else explains what we just read).

If you’re at our 9.30am service, the service has been planned with kids in mind. They will receive an age-appropriate activity pack halfway through the service.

If you’re at our 4pm service, kids will join us for the first part before they are invited to join in Kids Church.

  • The Marmong Point service kicks off at 9.30am, but lots of people arrive between 9am and 9.15 to enjoy a barista-made coffee, chat with the others who are there and find a seat.

The Morisset services kicks off at 4pm, but lots of people arrive between 3.30 and 3.45 to enjoy a barista-made coffee, chat with the others who are there and find a seat.

  • There is onsite parking at Morisset, and plenty of on-street parking available around 16 High Street, Marmong Point. We love our neighbours! So please avoid blocking driveways and access to private residences.

  • We’re all about Jesus here at Lake Mac Church—the Jesus revealed to us in the pages of God’s written Word, the Bible.
